Pyrantel Pamoate (OTC)
Available over-the-counter in many countries for pinworm/roundworm. Reference dose 11 mg/kg once (max 1 g), often repeated after 2 weeks. Paralyses worms so they pass in stool.
Mebendazole & Albendazole
Benzimidazole 'anthelmintics' that starve worms of glucose. Mebendazole 100 mg twice daily x3 days; albendazole 400 mg with a fatty meal. Prescription in many regions.
Ivermectin
Prescription antiparasitic dosed by weight (~0.2 mg/kg). Only to be used under direct medical supervision for a confirmed indication.
